Despite a stay with virtually no itinerary, our time on Porto Santo island went by extremely quickly, and we were down to our final full day on the island. We decided to make the most of our time by making two trips to the beach, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, around the time of low tide to maximize our shell-finding opportunities.

Noah and Emmie hung out in the backyard while waiting to leave for the beach.

Eilidh had lunch on the beach, as we looked to create a version of the photo taken last year.

Eilidh was helping bury Noah.
Lunch consisted of leftover pizza, and we mostly had a lazy afternoon around the house. I made a final trip to the city center for one last soft serve ice cream cone and a few miscellaneous snacks at the grocery store but was still able to get in a short nap along with Eilidh and the other adults before returning

Joy and Noah enjoyed riding bikes around our cul-de-sac, and decided to partake in a final short ride for the afternoon visit to the beach.

Emmie and I made time for an afternoon ice cream treat on the beach.

Amanda and Gee Gee had a rare break from the kids in the evening when they were picked up by the courtesy van for a ride to Panorama Restaurant, known for its great island views. They report the views were better than the food but still enjoyed their dinners and time together.
